Director Peyton Reed and the rest of the crew filmed some really cool scenes, including one that saw a tank burst through the front of Pym Technologies’ building.

Although Hank Pym and his daughter have a relative monopoly on the Pym technologies that can harness Pym Particles, the technology is still quite dangerous and could have catastrophic effects if it were to spread widely. A recent promotion for the movie used Pym Particles to super-size a pizza, which is obviously a joke but it shows the potential impact this kind of tech can have on the world.
Wasp
Hank Pym is one of the most beloved characters in the MCU. He’s a “mad scientist,” but he always wants to use his technology for good. This is why he created the Wasp suit – a powerful stinging insect that allows the wearer to shrink and expand at will.
In Ant-Man and the Wasp, Hank’s daughter Hope Van Dyne aka Wasp joins forces with Scott Lang aka Ant-Man to rescue the remaining Infinity Stones from Thanos before it’s too late. Despite the fact that the Wasp is still under house arrest for her involvement with the Avengers in violation of the Sokovia accords, the pair work together to bring the stones back to Earth and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.
The movie also takes a refreshingly realistic approach to its portrayal of married couples. Both Hank and Janet are portrayed as faithful husband and wife who love each other deeply. They also act civilly towards each other despite their strained relationship following Hank’s trip into the Quantum Realm in 1987.
After helping thwart Cross’ attempt to sell the Yellowjacket Suit to Carson and HYDRA, Hank gives Hope an upgraded prototype of the Wasp suit that he and Janet started working on decades ago. Seeing her as the solution and hero he’s been waiting for, Hank reluctantly gives her the Wasp suit and helps her with her quest to rescue Janet from the Quantum Realm.
Goliath
Whether you’re a fan of the biblical story or not, Goliath is a powerful word. It can refer to anyone or anything that seems insurmountable. Hank Pym was born into an ordinary family and grew up to be a brilliant biochemist who worked at his own company, Pym Laboratories. He had dreams of using his science to help humanity, but he was told to focus on practical applications. That led to his work with the atomic and molecular sciences, and eventually to the discovery of Pym Particles.
When his wife Janet was kidnapped by the Collector (Taneleer Tivan), Hank enlisted the Avengers to rescue her. Taking on the new alias of Goliath, he used his size-changing ability to grow to 25 feet. He also upgraded his Yellowjacket costume with flight technology and electric stingers.
Hank’s capricious personality was evident in this era as he came and went from the Avengers. He would occasionally use the Giant Man identity but mostly used his regular shrinking powers as Ant-Man. Eventually his lab assistant Bill Foster would take up the Yellowjacket alias and later Black Goliath. Hank himself eventually stopped taking on his own superhero identities completely and left the Avengers for a while.
Avengers
The Avengers are a group of Earth’s most powerful heroes who work to defend the planet from outside threats. The Avengers are a group of superheroes that includes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. These heroes are powered by sophisticated technology created by companies like PYM Technologies. The company creates a special particle called Pym Particle which allows mortal men to compete with super-powered titans. This particle is crucial in the fight against Hydra and the Chitauri.
